Excel Mobiles was started in April 04 by Darren Gale. From day one it was based in a computer shop called 'Eurobytes' in Wareham, Dorset. As Darren was a computer engineer for Eurobytes, he started this business as a side line unlocking phones just using one unlocking kit. He was also unlocking phones at Canford Magna car boot sale on Sundays. As more phones came in, the money was re-invested back into the company to purchase newer various unlocking kits enabling Excel Mobiles to be able to unlock more handsts. Since then, this web-site was initially setup allowing customers nationwide to unlock their phone by post providing a fast and reliable service. The site was basic at first, but it worked. During the years, the web-site was enhanced using a cubecart system that allowed ease of use and search facilities. In February 07, Darren purchased the business which was formerly 'Eurobytes', and changed it to 'Excel IT', which is one of the most known computer shops on the Isle of Purbeck. As business boomed, Darren started to get into other sides of business of web-site design, web hosting and sign writing. It is since then, that all the businesses were all pulled into what is now known as 'The Excel group'. In March 09, the Excel Group now added reviews to the site, which enables customers that have used our services to tell others what they thought of the service they received from us.
